Our Story
I've loved fashion for as long as I can remember. It took me to ESMOD in Paris and then to London College of Fashion. I genuinely thought I'd found my path.
But the deeper I got into the industry, the harder it became to ignore what was sitting behind it all. The waste, the overconsumption, the corners being cut. The dream of having my own brand quietly fell apart. How could I build something I was proud of inside a system I didn't believe in?
I spent years in marketing, working with brands and carrying that guilt with me every day. Until eventually I knew something had to change.
I moved to Byron Bay, and life slowed right down. People here don't take life too seriously, they grow things, fix things, make things with their hands. It reminded me that fashion can feel that way too - unhurried, intentional, something you actually care for.
That's where Etti Studios came from.
We sell sewing patterns designed to be made at home, using fabric you already own. That old shirt sitting in the back of your wardrobe, the linen you've been meaning to do something with - that's exactly where we start. Nothing new needs to be bought. Nothing needs to go to waste.
Sewing is a superpower nobody talks about enough.
It's a small shift, but it's one I genuinely believe in. And there's more to come - we're working on turning recycled fabrics into finished pieces too, so watch this space.
I hope Etti Studios gives you a reason to slow down, get creative, and fall back in love with what's already in your wardrobe.
